The pub strap line is &quot;friendly and efficient service in a warm atmosphere with great food, craft beers, real ales&quot;. Couldn&#39;t agree more. We were in town for the day and like to choose pubs off the tourist trails. The Union Tavern was just perfect with good beer, great food, lovely atmosphere and attentive service. Well done to the chef - who we could see working ! Perfect end to a lovely day&#39;s visit to London.

A little early in the evening about 5am with dinner. Course dishes, like the pre-theatre menu, appetizers, main and dessert selection prefix. Mainly the lamb is particularly delicious. Rolled up just because the price is a bit higher, but the good atmosphere and service is good.

Lovely place seating near quiet inner courtyard. Music low enough not to interfere with conversation. Staff very attentive and good food.
